Just a thought . The remotes of  the RCDLR system generally won't work when  the key is in the ignition or ignition turned on, so unlike other systems where  communication  is dependent on  the ignition is on maybe by chance just check if the opposite applies for the RCDLR where that module becomes active when the ignition is turned off .
